About Me

Zoe Barnes is an illustrator and tattoo artist based in Brooklyn, New York. She holds a BFA in illustration from Parsons School of Design. She often explores themes of spirituality, corruption, femininity, and nature. In her illustrations, she works primarily in watercolor and gouache, or digitally. Her vivid colors, along with Art Nouveau motifs evoke a dreamlike feeling.

Zoe’s tattoo work, although in black and white, evokes the same fantasy feeling and flowing shapes as her illustration work. She endeavors to fit her tattoo designs to the flow of each individuals body.
